Hi,  I’m Shyla

I am the trauma survivor, and coach behind Grow Heal Change and I am passionate about the human spirit and potential. With my own trauma history involving a childhood filled with narcissistic abuse, I have spent many years unpacking trauma. This includes overcoming codependency, toxic shame, depression, and anxiety. This also includes healing my relationship with myself, my body, and building healthy relationships with others. I believe we are here to heal. No matter who we are, we all have a trauma story.

I want to partner with you on your healing path and empower you with attunement, and resources for resilience that were not given to you in your childhood.

  • I am engaged to an awesome partner, Nathan (pictured above). We are getting married in Mexico!
  • I absolutely love to cook! Feeding people delicious food is one of my favourite pass-times
  • I have just completed my first year in a 2.5 year Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Degree; I also hold an advanced diploma in Human Resources and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
